Yesterday was a day for us to just 🛑 STOP and relax in our Airbnb apartment! We had nothing planned until 6:30 when we met sister Wanda at a wonderful Mexican restaurant called Bacnora. 😋🤤😋 It was a nice 30 minute walk with a short stop at the cathedral to snap a few photos before it closed. Seriously, we have been on the go since we arrived back in Portland, Oregon USA on August 12th...How do we do it?! One word! Italian food in Lake Como! OMG! 🇮🇹😋🤤❤️ Dinner last night with Paul and Wanda at La Griglia was excellent! It was the largest order of mussels ever and they were super delicious and fresh! We all agreed that their tiramisu was in our "Top Five" as we have tasted so many from Florence, Assisi, Rome, Milan and finally here in Como...Sometimes twice a day but always a family share! 💞 Earlier in the day Rich and Wanda had a great lunch at Ristorante Da Rosa where locals come for their daily specials. This sweet and welcoming family served up amazing home cooked pasta, salad and potatoes! And of course we shared Rosa's homemade tiramisu! After our visit to the Egyptian Museum and a fun lunch, we were on a mission to locate a specialty coffee business on a quiet street in beautiful Turin, Italy! ☕🇮🇹☕ When we walked in, we met Ricardo who opened his business in 2024! His passion for fine coffees was obvious! And we had many international beans to choose from! We decided to go with Costa Rica and Columbia as we've traveled there and loved the coffee from Central and South America! ❤️☕☕❤️ The pistachio cake made our visit even more spectacular!
