Park Avenue Changi Hotel

We stayed here overnight April 20, 2024 (US$161/ without breakfast). We were en route to Bali from Osaka. Got a good night sleep. Received a free upgrade to a one bedroom suite and appreciated the extra space. Were only here for 12 hours. Breakfast available S$29 per person. It’s a short walk from the Expo MRT — the first stop on the East-West line from the airport terminus (follow exit signs to “Changi Business Park” from Downtown line level). Nice supermarket steps away (where we bought a cheaper breakfast to-go. A value-priced overnightnight option very close to Changi International airport. Liked it, didn’t love it. Would probably stay again. Good Indian food directly across from front desk area in food court. Plenty of other options too.

Hotel Boss

We stayed here three nights in October 2022 in a superior double with balcony, breakfast and taxes for $159. Good value for expensive Singapore. A reasonable distance from Changi airport. Easy to use the metro from the airport and just a few minutes walking from the exit to wheel our luggage to the lobby. The inward-facing balcony was too noisy to use. Would stay again.

Naumi Liora Hotel

US$249/night - For a first-time visit to Singapore the best feature of our stay at the Naumi Liora Hotel was the central Chinatown location. We booked a Porch Double room overlooking Duxton Plain Park - that was nice.

Pros - Location, helpful staff, clean, historic building, good night's sleep, nice shower.

Cons - Small room, minimal room decor, underwhelming lobby.
