Reflections on Sri Lanka 2026

We keep coming back to Sri Lanka. For our fourth visit, our friend Miles joined us for a couple of weeks! Together, and with the help of our friend and certified tour guide Ayesh, we sampled some of the best sites. Miles wanted to see and experience the elephants, some of the historical sites and connect with both the Hindu and Buddhist traditions.

We returned to our favorite previous accommodations in both Kandy and Nilaveli. Below is the one new additional hotel near Polonnaruwa where we stayed. Also below is our podcast with Miles about his visit with lots of pics and stories.
