We arrived in Madrid from the USA on August 25, 2026 just in time to celebrate Paul’s 67th birthday! We’re leaving from Malaga in the south on October 6, 2026 en route to Nepal. Our property selections are listed below. More soon.
after. a week in madrid we flew south to almeria and the nearby naturist community of playa vera. After a good rest, we continued our journey throughout southern spain.

Hotel Boutique Adolfo — Toledo, Spain
/We were here September 1, 2026 (deluxe double, $213 /night, with breakfast, property listing). Every recommendation was to stay just one night. It’s also common to just come down for the day from Madrid. We could have easily stayed two nights and wished we had. We could not squeeze in the Greco museum! We just could not move any faster. Should have stayed two nights!
