Springtime in Oregon

Greetings from the Pacific Northwest! Portland, Oregon USA! where springtime lasts for three months solid and feels eternal. We're blessed to have excellent air quality and the water is incredibly pure and plentiful!

Our recent trip to Zipolite, Oaxaca MEXICO was our first travel destination together since we returned home from Southeast Asia in early March 2020. So much has changed in the world and for us as individuals and as a traveling couple. For example, we learned how important it is to have separate vacation time away from each other. How nice is was to get back together after five weeks apart. Now that we have had time to reflect on who are we and what our vision is as Teen Elders we are ready! Travel and exploring new cultures is in our blood. Meeting hundreds of wonderful people wherever we go has been life changing! Rich keeps saying, "So if not now, when?!?"

Our vision is to have a wonderful couple lease our Portland home this fall and allow us a few years to live anywhere we like! Yes! Stepping away from this cozy house, life in Oregon and putting things in storage sounds like a ton of work and yet totally spot on for us! There's gonna be more time later in life for staying in one place! Now isn't that time!

In the meantime, we're lovin' on the plants and trees that are embracing the wet and wonderful Pacific Northwest! We are planning a little trip to the Bay area in California to visit family and friends in late April. Then our Michigan Niece and her family arrive in June! Life is so wonderful and we're in perpetual gratitude!
