Relections on Italy 2025
We’ll be here September 23 - October 20, 2025. We’ll visit Florence, Assisi, Rome, Venice, Milan and Lake Como in that order.
We’ll arrive in Florence, meeting up with Rich’s Sister and her wife from Texas! Rich has been to Florence several times but Paul hasn’t been there for 45 years (since college). The Texas women have never been to Italy.

The most famous frieze by Leonardo da Vinci in Milan is the fresco in the Sala delle Asse (Room of the Wooden Planks) at Castello Sforzesco. This fresco, completed in 1498, depicts a pretend pergola with intertwined branches of sixteen trees, forming a symbolic emblem. Another prominent work by Da Vinci in Milan is The Last Supper, located in the refectory of Santa Maria delle Grazie.
